Delivery

We offer FREE DELIVERY on all case orders, to a single delivery address on the UK mainland.

 

A signature will be required for goods at the
delivery address by an adult aged 18 years or over.

Delivery notes

It is extremely important to us that we deliver your wine securely, if it is likely no one will be available to receive and sign for the goods at the delivery address, please give us details, when ordering, of a safe place or alternative address where we can leave your order. If no safe place or alternative address is supplied, a signature will be required.

If your order is left somewhere at your request and subsequently goes missing we regret that neither we nor our couriers can take responsibility.

You will become the owner of the goods you order and responsible for the risk of loss or damage to them once they have been delivered to you.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to organise any special delivery arrangements.

Delivery Time 

We aim to deliver your wine as soon as possible, Monday to Friday, we recommend allowing up to 3-5 working days for your order to arrive, up to 10 days for delivery to the Scottish Isles & Highlands. Due to the general vagaries of business (the odd out of stock wine, courier issues, blizzards, ducks crossing etc.) we can't guarantee 100% that every case will arrive within the stated guidelines, but you can always be assured that it's well on its way.

Guidelines:

England & Wales - please allow 3-5 working days.

Scotland - please allow 5-7 working days.

Scottish Islands & Highlands - please allow 7-10 working days.

Missed delivery

If no one is available to receive and sign for the goods at the delivery address, a contact card will be left. When you receive this card you will need to contact the details to re-arrange a suitable delivery day. Often only two delivery attempts will be made before goods are returned to us. If you would like the goods to be resent to you, you will need to contact us to arrange this. An additional delivery fee may be payable.

We cannot be held responsible for incorrect addresses and postcodes given to us. If you provide a wrong address or postcode and we have to redirect your parcel to an alternative address, then we will charge a £10 redirection fee to your credit card.

Fulfilment error, missing or damaged wines

Please kindly examine all goods at the time of delivery.

If your goods are damaged, you can refuse to sign for it. The parcel will be returned, and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent.

You can accept the delivery by signing for it, but please note down how many bottles are damaged and the nature of the damage on the carrier’s delivery note when signing.

Please be certain to check the number of cases you are signing for - we cannot replace wines that have been signed for but not actually received. We will not accept any claims for breakages or shortages unless they are stated on the courier’s documentation.

Please notify us of any breakages or shortage within 24 hours through the contact us page with the order number, and we will deal with any problems in a fair and timely manner.

Delivery advice

Please consider carefully where the goods are to be delivered.

A signature is required for the delivery, so please kindly make sure the delivery address is where somebody can sign for them.

Please provide a work or business delivery address if a residential or your delivery address could prove difficult where a signature is required.

Please provide us with complete delivery details when ordering (full name, delivery address including postcode, & contact telephone number), this will help us to offer you the highest level of service.

Delivery instructions maybe left at the time of ordering for goods to be left with a neighbour.

Alternatively you can request that goods be left safe without a signature (e.g. in the porch, at the back door, in the garage, etc.). Please understand, this is at your own risk and neither we nor our delivery carriers will accept responsibility should the wines be lost, stolen or damaged as a result of such instructions being followed.

If you miss your delivery, contact the local depot as soon as a delivery contact card is received - re-delivery can then be arranged.
