German Wine
On the steep slate and shale banks along the Mosel, the pristine, castle-crowned vineyards of the Rheingau or the rolling hills of Rheinhessen, Germany produces some of the world’s best, yet underrated wines.
There’s no doubt that Germany has become synonymous with the greatest Riesling in the world, around two thirds of German wine production is white wine with the red, Spätburgunder (Pinot noir) wines increasing in both production and quality.
